Physical therapy appointments have a clear intent to improve a specific movement function(s), treat an existing injury and reach specific functional goals determined by patient and therapist collaboration. Depending on the needs of the patient treatment might include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, movement re-training, and education. Often this includes prescription of exercises and other daily living considerations for home.

Physical therapy appointments employ specialized exercises and interventions to improve movement function and reduce pain and are typically focused on the rehabilitation and treatment of specific medical diagnoses. Dr. Sarah Petrich's centers her practice utilizing a Postural Restoration® approach and other complimentary techniques.
Dr. Sarah is an out-of-network cash-based provider. For non-Medicare beneficiaries, all physical therapy sessions can be coded for reimbursement for out-of-network insurance benefits. Out-of-network reimbursement is the patient’s responsibility and can be done directly with coordinating with their insurance company or utilizing an online reimbursement service such as reimbursify.com. Medicare is not accepted.

In-Person Private Sessions take place at Studio U in St. Louis Park and billed through Studio U. Virtual Sessions are billed through Restore & Rebalance with Dr. Sarah Petrich, PT.
These sessions focus on movement re-training using Pilates equipment often integrating Postural Restoration®, and other complementary approaches. Please note these sessions are not physical therapy treatment and can not be medically coded or submitted to insurance.


Pilates Reformer Classes

In-Person Pilates reformer classes take place at Studio U in St. Louis Park. These classes integrate Pilates and Postural Restoration® concepts into each session for the purpose of rebalancing and restoring optimal movement and balance. Classes are 55-60 minutes long and have a maximum capacity of 5 people in a class.


Virtual Pilates Mat Class

Virtual mat classes integrate Pilates and Postural Restoration® concepts to help in restoring and rebalancing movement patterns while strengthening and improving mobility. Classes are 60 minutes long.

Miscellaneous calls or virtual meetings amongst friends, colleagues etc.

Dr. Sarah Petrich, a movement enthusiast deeply rooted in dance, holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Masters & Doctorate of Physical Therapy from St Catherine University. With nearly two decades of experience, she specializes in employing Pilates and Postural Restoration® techniques to assist patients and clients in re-balancing asymmetrical breath, posture, and movement patterns that may contribute to injury and dysfunction.

Drawing inspiration from Ron Hruska’s groundbreaking work with the Postural Restoration Institute® (PRI), she earned her Postural Restoration Certification (PRC) in 2011. In 2013, she achieved her Pilates Method Alliance Certification.

She has served as a nationawide educator for Postural Restoration Institute and Summit Professional Education and most recently co-founded Re-Balance Pilates, LLC in 2022 where she continues to teach a PRI approach to Pilates. Additionally, she is a founding member of the Minnesota Dance Medicine Foundation (MDMF), Pilates Method Alliance member and serves as an Airway Advocate with the Foundation for Airway Health.
